Whether you are a family group celebrating a special occasion, a group of old friends organising a reunion weekend or a works group getting away for a weekend of fun and games, our Weekend House Parties are the answer.
As you will have exclusive use of the hotel, you need not worry about other guests getting in the way of your Celebration party so you can set the party mood to be as outrageous or as quiet as you like.
Our highly successful Celebration Weekends are based on parties of 14 or more who take the hotel over for their own private Celebration Weekend House Party. Smaller groups are possible but pay an increased rate.
Our eight bedroomed Victorian Country House Hotel is available for your exclusive hire. The accommodation can be configured as twin rooms, double rooms or family rooms. All rooms are en-suite, some with roll-top baths, except for one which has private bathroom facilities. The complete celebration weekend can be structured to meet your exact requirements. Menus, mealtimes, children's early supper etc, room gifts chosen by you, all add to the success of your special weekend.
Your Celebration Weekend begins with a two-course meal on the Friday evening, arranged to allow for the various arrival times of the members of your party. After your meal relax in the bar, make use of the games room or stroll in the hotel grounds.
Saturday starts with a full English breakfast. Celebration party groups usually take in one or more exciting activities during the weekend. Try quad biking, karting, paintball, golf, fishing, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, surfing etc. See our Celebration Weekend Activities page for more details. Or why not just relax and enjoy the glorious North Devon countryside and rugged Atlantic coastline. We can advise on a number of walks or scenic drives. Returning to the hotel, wash and brush-up ready for the evening. The three-course meal, served in our candlelit intimate restaurant, can be chosen with your requirements in mind. We are particularly pleased with our ability and experience in catering for special dietary requirements. After your meal relax in our comfortable bar with coffee and your favourite liqueur in front of an open log fire.
The fully inclusive price of the Celebration package is from £140.00 per person (assuming a party size of 14 or more – smaller groups are possible but pay extra). This includes two nights dinner, bed & breakfast. The only extras that you have are bar, wine and any additional items or activities. Please note that this price is for exclusive use of the hotel and its facilities throughout the weekend.
